Person-Centred Counselling in
Blackpool & Surrounding Areas

A safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, process emotions, and move forward at your own pace.

Hello, I’m Aleesha…

I understand how difficult it can feel reaching out for support, especially for the first time. My aim is to provide a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I offer person-centred counselling in Blackpool and surrounding areas, supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, understanding, and genuine connection.

Alongside general counselling support, I have experience in supporting domestic violence and abuse survivors both within the counselling setting, and working for a domestic violence charity, as well as clients navigating challenges linked to ADHD, overwhelm, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.

You May Recognise Yourself In Things Like…

  • Feeling emotionally exhausted or overwhelmed
  • Constant overthinking or anxiety
  • Struggling with people pleasing or boundaries
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself
  • Low confidence or self-worth
  • Feeling stuck or unsure about your direction
  • Burnout from trying to hold everything together
  • Feeling like life looks “fine” on the outside, but not internally

A Personal Introduction…

Sometimes hearing someone speak can help counselling feel a little less daunting. This short introduction is here to help you get a sense of who I am and how I work.

Counselling is not only for those experiencing major trauma or crisis. Sometimes it’s about having the space to pause, understand yourself more deeply, and work through the thoughts, feelings, or patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out for support.

What is Person-Centred Therapy?

Person-centred counselling offers a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It is based on the belief that every person has the inner ability to grow, heal, and make positive changes when they feel truly heard and understood.

As your counsellor, I will work alongside you with empathy, honesty, and acceptance, helping you explore whatever may be affecting your wellbeing at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, person-centred counselling focuses on helping you develop greater self-awareness, confidence, and clarity, empowering you to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
